Happy Easter!

 

The Easter bunny must have gotten directions from Santa because he sure found our house... How did he know that tommy loves kit kats just like his dad? Good thing he likes to share with the old man. He'd jut gotten up, so it took him a few minutes to declare that mommy bought this stuff. Looks like he's paying attention in the store.

 

 

 

We "enjoyed" a modern, non-Easter themed sermon in the morning, and then headed home for an egg hunt. Uncle Jon has lots of drywall buckets to collect eggs in.

 

 

 

 

 

Took some nice family pictures.

 

 

 

And then headed to the Little America Coffee Shop for a delicious meal where the Easter bunny showed up.

 

Visited old friends in the lobby.

 

 

And took a good nap. Happy Easter!

Lagoon!

We bought season passes to lagoon for Christmas, and this was opening weekend. I'm guessing well be at lagoon a lot this summer.

Keeping busy

We've been back at the remodel these last few weeks of nice weather. It took a while, but I found a bunch of brand new flat-ship cabinets at habitat for humanity. I'll be making a concrete counter soon, after finish trim is done. The new door with window completely transformed the room - the natural light makes this my favorite room of the house!

 

The floor is just an inexpensive laminate, but I really love it.

Bowling, picnics, & batman

Tommy turned into quite the bowler this winter, but I think he likes dancing more...

Waher does NOT go in der...

I got home from just in time to discover Tommy had poured water in the snowblower gas tank. When I talked to him about it, I learned that he'd also put some leaves in there.

I also learned that water went into the crankcase. I used my handy vacuum to suck it all out.

 

 

Charlie enjoyed a little lesson in engine care.

 

Yeah, turned out he'd been stuffing rocks, trash, sticks, and leaves in there for a little while. It'll take a bit of work to get it all cleaned out.
