1st (and 2nd, and 3rd...) Snow!

Halloween pictures are residing at Grandma's house, and maybe on aunt Wiz's camera too.  It's been so busy, I can't seem to retrieve them, so I'm copping out and linkifying you to here.  Tom was a Turkey, and Charlie a little chick.  I'll have to get a picture of Charlie up whenever I can get my hands on one, but it might take a little while.I wasn't planning on it, but ended up being the bridge troll again this year after the first group of kids was so disappointed he wasn't around.

Since Halloween, Tom & I hung new shutters on the house, and have kept busy vacuuming leaves all over the neighborhood.  Again, no pictures, but if you don't know about my yard-vac, check this picture out from last year.  The Billy-Goat now qualifies as an indispensable yard tool at my house.  It made short work of fall cleanup for my entire culdesac.

It snowed most of the day on Friday and through the night.  We woke up Saturday to our first snow!

Tommy rearin' to get his gear on and go play outside.
Charlie, rearin' to get his milk on, and stay nice & warm in his firetruck PJ's.

Tom's first snowman.  I can't believe I got him to pose.  Of course, he was pretty much done outside and I told him he couldn't go in until I got a couple picture.

It proceeded to snow off & on all day Saturday, so last night we broke out the snowman PJ's for Charlie & Tom in honor.

Hard to tell from the photo, but Charlie loves his big brother and usually smiles, laughs, and giggles whenever he's around.
Big shoes to fill kid.
It snowed even more Saturday night, and we woke up to about 18" total at my house.  It's really so beautiful.
Our snowman was even covered.

The last fall leaves, somehow clinging to the poplars yet.
Too thick for a toddler to run in.

Brushin' off his "snowblower"
Blowin' snow, and entranced by the snow plow.
